The Front Headlock system is split into two general forms of control – Open and Closed. The distinction between the two is made dependant on whether the attacks hands are linked or not.
We work with three primary routes of attack from the initial control position, all three lead to a method of breaking your opponent down to a hip, and a different form of Head & Arm submission.

We will discuss the four types of guillotine and their different mechanics, as well as when to use them.
